Hello! Welcome to the start of something new.

Hi! Here I am. Putting myself out there. Not the way I normally go about things. It's kind of a double entendre. I would love to stay in my studio all day, almost like hibernating for the winter (But all year round). Just me and my dog, between the hours of 9-5, until the fam comes home. But then I get sad that not many people know who I am. What I am about, and the things that I do in my cave, aka: studio.
I said to myself, "Put your big girl panties on and just do it already!"
. . . And so, it begins.

I am very blessed to be able to be a full-time artist. Thank you, honey! xoxo There is nothing else I'd rather do. Really. I have tried to think of what else I could be doing with my life, and I got nothing. For as long as I can remember, I always drew things like copying comics, doodling on my 3-ring notebook, and entering drawing contests in the TV Guide. I even got a letter from Charles M. Scholtz telling me that I have talent! If Charles tells you that you have talent, who am I to ever give it up! I was always chosen in my school to draw the cover of the concert pamphlets. I won several Halloween painting contests in my town. And I was chosen as a finalist in The School of Visual Arts scholarship competition. I didn't receive a scholarship, but I was automatically accepted into the school, which was one of my favorite parts of my life!

My art journey has taken me all over, almost like a rollercoaster ride. Lots of ups and downs and just as many twists and turns. If you know me, you will know all of the different techniques that I have dabbled in as well as all of the different mediums. I love every one of those moments, and I truly believe they have all gotten me to this point.
This point in my art journey is the most exciting! (I probably said that with every new chapter) I seriously wake up with butterflies in my stomach every day with anticipation! I have lots of announcements that I will be making for this new chapter. Please sign up for my email list to stay in touch and hear all about it.
Well, that wasn't so hard. I actually kind of liked it. lol
